Overhead Phone line repairs

In more tree dense suburbs such as Eltham or Emerald, phone line faults are usually more common.

In these areas, most houses are connected to the NBN / Telstra network via an overhead cable, meaning a cable is installed through the air via a span.

Although it makes for an easy installation it’s more prone to damage from tree branches and possums and we have seen these cables damaged multiple times.

In addition, can cause intermittent internet dropouts and crackly phone lines.

Once on-site, we can check the health of the overhead cable and if necessary install a new one from the house to the service pole.
