Phoneworks Certificate of Compliance

A registered cabling provider must complete a Certificate of Compliance or a “Telecommunications cabling advice” form after each cabling job. (Except for certain exemptions)

Cablers must retain a copy of this Certificate for at least 12 months and pass a copy to the customer and/or employer.

BOOK A TECHNICIAN

This Certificate of Compliance must include the technicians’:

Full name
Contact details
Name of a registrar that they are registered & licensed with
Registration number

The description of the work carried out, for example:

Test premises for phone line faults
Locate and repair damage to a phone line
Install a new phone line to the office for a new connection
Fit off wall plate for phone and fax
Check that all points are working

Certification

Declaration by the technician that all the work carried out complies with the wiring rules (AS/ACIF S009:2006 or its replacement)
This declaration must also include the technician’s name, both printed and signed with the date

As required by cabling regulations, Phoneworks will provide a “Certificate of Compliance” on all work carried out by our technicians. This is a professionally presented document that clearly states all of the above information.

Phoneworks also provide a Telecommunications Line Fault Report in circumstances where a provider is reluctant to repair a fault. All workmanship carried out by Phoneworks technicians is covered by our Lifetime Guarantee. (Conditions apply)
